The app was launched in December 2015 and has gained an astonishing 11 500 downloads since launch. The app is growing at 1000 downloads per week currently.
This type of app is a directory app much like Yummy Deals. The success that Factory Shops SA is enjoying in the South African market is testament to the rise of the “appreneur” . Appreneurs are entrepreneurs who exclusively focus on running apps as businesses.
