We are very happy to announce that one of our apps, Ken Forrester Wines, has been included in the selection for MTN Business App of the Year 2015!
We are under consideration in the category Best Enterprise App – Navigation. It is the first app of its kind in the world that allows consumers to find and navigate to their favourite wine in the trade with up to date listings.
Apart from high definition video and informative content such as tasting notes, social media and contact details the other most notable feature is an in app shop which opens up a new direct sales channel. The app therefore provides clear value to the farm in terms of brand building, direct communication through push notification and direct sales as well as to the user who is always able to keep their favourite wine in stock by either finding the nearest stockist or by ordering directly through the app. The consumer is also able to take advantage of in app promotions for discounts and deals, to keep informed of upcoming events and to easily contact or find the farm.
